DISCUSSED SUBJECTS
Our IELTS preparation courses allow students to acquire the language level necessary to pass the exam with success. We want to develop the ease and autonomy of our students so that they are able to understand the content of a complex text, communicate with a native clearly, or express an opinion orally, since one exam takes place face to face with an examiner. The courses content is personalized, so the teacher will approach the concepts of the English language according to your interests and needs.
COURSE CONTENT for ielts preparation
First, we offer an evaluation of the student’s level to better understand the student’s needs and weaknesses. We provide all the material for the course and our teachers guide you through your preparation giving you feedback on your progress for each section of the exam.
For the writing section you will receive corrections in red of your compositions and essays and grammatical exercises targeted to help you improve the areas identified during the correction process.

TEACHING METHODS
IELTS preparation can be done by Google Meet or telephone, depending on the student's preferences and availability. You can choose to take several classes in one week to meet an early deadline. It is possible to cancel a course or make changes to the schedule, without penalty, with 48 hours notice. At Global Lingua, there is a study area that gathers several information: your class schedule, homework, learning objectives and class notes exchanged between you and your teacher.
You can agree with your teacher that you want to do exercises outside of school hours to integrate the notions acquired during the lessons. You can also ask him to take some IELTS exams to train you.
LENGTH OF the CLASSES
IELTS exam preparation courses are given at the frequency and time most convenient for the student. Generally, students first choose to take 30-minute or one-hour classes before taking longer courses when they feel comfortable.
OTHER CLASSES THAT MIGHT INTEREST YOU
With Global Lingua, you can take classes to learn a whole new language, or to consolidate your knowledge of an already known language. For example, you may choose to take French conversation classes to be more comfortable speaking, or TCF Q exam preparation courses as part of an immigration process.
