STUDENT PROFILE
This program is designed for people who need to take the TOEIC, or Test of English for International Communication, to assess their level of English both orally and in writing. This test is more professional than academic, but it is mandatory on many university bachelor's degrees in Quebec and its success is necessary to obtain certain degrees.
Generally, people who sign up for this course program want to make sure they have all the language skills they need before the TOEIC exam.

DISCUSSED SUBJECTS
Our TOEIC preparation courses allow students to acquire the language level necessary to pass the exam. We want to develop the ease and autonomy of our students so that they are able to understand the content of a complex text, communicate with a native clearly, or express an opinion accurately. The course content is personalized, so the teacher will approach the concepts of the English language according to your interests and needs.
TEACHING METHODS
TOEIC preparation can be done by Google Meet or telephone, depending on the student's preferences and availability. It is possible to cancel a course or make changes to the schedule, without penalty, with 48 hours notice. At Global Lingua, there is a study area that gathers several information: your class schedule, your homework, your learning objectives and your class notes exchanged between you and your teacher.
Concerning homework, you can agree with your teacher that you want to do exercises outside of school hours to integrate the notions acquired during the lessons. You can also ask him to take some TOEIC exams to train you.
LENGTH OF the CLASSES
TOEIC exam preparation courses are given at the frequency and time most convenient for the student. Generally, students first choose to take 30-minute or one-hour classes before taking longer courses when they feel comfortable.
OTHER CLASSES THAT MIGHT INTEREST YOU
With Global Lingua, you can take classes to learn a whole new language, or to consolidate your knowledge of an already known language. For example, you may choose to take French conversation classes to be more comfortable speaking, or TCF Q exam preparation courses as part of an immigration process.
