STUDENT PROFILE
This program is designed for people who need to take the BRIGHT test to know and prove their level of English.
WHAT IS THE BRIGHT TEST?
The BRIGHT test is a professional language test available entirely online to test your level in 11 languages: English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese, Dutch, Flemish, Swedish, Russian, Mandarin Chinese. It allows you to evaluate your level of English by checking grammar, vocabulary, syntactic structures and oral comprehension.
There are two types of BRIGHT tests: a professional English test entitled "Test English 120 General" covering all levels from A1 to C1+ of the CEFR, and a beginners' English test entitled "Test: A LEVEL BEGINNERS English R NF" for levels A1 to A2.
The Professional BRIGHT test consists of an online quiz composed of two parts (written and oral) of 60 questions each. It lasts 45 to 60 minutes in total.

TOPICS STUDIED
Our BRIGHT test preparation courses allow students to acquire the language level necessary to pass the test. Our goal? To develop our students' fluency and autonomy so that they are able to understand the content of a complex text, to communicate with a native speaker in a clear manner, or to express an opinion in a precise manner. They will therefore be able to answer the oral and written questions of the BRIGHT test.
TEACHING METHODS
Preparation for the BRIGHT test can be done by Google Meet for online classes and on our Sapere platform for the exercises. Classes given by video call are recommended to quickly improve oral comprehension, but also written comprehension! Indeed, the teacher is able to show live documents via screen sharing, which is more interactive.
It is possible to cancel a class or make changes to your schedule, without penalty, with 48 hours notice. At Global Lingua, the study area gathers several pieces of information: your class schedule, homework assignments, learning objectives and some course notes exchanged between you and your teacher. If you ask your teacher, he or she can give you homework in order to integrate the notions acquired during the lessons. You can also ask your teacher to take mock tests of the BRIGHT test in order to practice.
COURSE DURATION
BRIGHT test preparation classes are given at the frequency and time most convenient for the student. Typically, students choose to take 30-minute or one-hour classes, and then take longer classes when they feel comfortable.
