Learn more about our advanced French courses via Google Meet or by phone.
Advanced French courses are designed for people who already have a very good command of the French language and who wish to improve in one or more of the four language skills. These four language skills we refer to are listening comprehension, reading comprehension, speaking and writing.
Our advanced French courses represent the C1 (autonomous) and C2 (master) levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Evaluate your level to see if this course is for you.
Our advanced French courses will expose you to the richness of the French language and help you get rid of grammar mistakes. Individuals who want to have an advanced level in French will be able to achieve their goal with Global Lingua thanks to the following reasons:
- Program adapted to the needs of individuals
- Customized courses according to the student’s interests
- Learning objectives determined between students and their teacher
- Tracking according to the individual rhythm of each
- Courses available for students of all levels
- Frequent assessments to observe progress
- Exercises and homework to consolidate the gains
Teachers will focus on the language skills you want to improve, without totally put aside other skills. In general, advanced courses will help you assimilate the familiar and more difficult language uses of French. We want to ensure that our advanced students communicate in French fluently and effectively in various contexts.
We also want our students to be able to identify facts and arguments in various written sources and to qualify them in writing. We also want to make you aware of the idiomatic expressions that characterize the French language and to ensure that you can use them in an appropriate and relevant context.
Our students can choose to do their French lessons by Google Meet or by phone. You can cancel a course or make changes to the schedule, without penalty, with 48 hours notice. After you register, you will be able to access a study area that contains useful information including your class schedule, homework assignments, objectives and course notes exchanged between you and your teacher. If you want, you can ask your teacher for exercises to do outside of school hours, in order to apply the concepts learned in class.
LENGTH OF the CLASSES
Advanced courses in French are provided on a frequency and at a time that may be best for the student. Students prefer 30-minute or one-hour classes, but it is also possible to take longer courses.
OTHER CLASSES THAT MIGHT INTEREST YOU
The courses for our more experienced French students will allow you to start a conversation with native speakers, regardless of their accent. If you want to get the advanced level in a very short time, it is also possible with Global Lingua to do intensive French courses or courses focused solely on conversation.
