This program is designed for people who need to take the Versant English Placement Test to certify their level of English during a study program. It can also be used by students who are preparing an application to participate in an academic exchange abroad.
WHAT IS THE VERSANT TEST?
The Versant placement test is a test created by Pearson to be taken entirely online. The test certifies your level of English in listening, reading, speaking and writing.
The test lasts 50 minutes and has 9 parts: Read Aloud, Repetition, Sentence Builds, Conversations, Typing, Sentence Completion, Dictation, Passage Reconstruction, Summary & Opinion.

TOPICS COVERED
Our Versant placement test preparation courses help students acquire the language skills needed to pass the exam. Our goal? To develop our students' fluency so that they are able to understand the content of a complex text, communicate clearly, or express an opinion. They will then be able to answer the oral and written questions of the Versant test.
TEACHING METHODS
Preparation for the Versant test can be done via Google Meet. Classes given by video call are recommended to quickly improve oral comprehension, but also for written comprehension! The teacher can show live documents via screen sharing, which makes the course interactive.
It is possible to cancel a course or change the schedule without penalty with 48 hours notice. At Global Lingua, the study area includes information on class schedules, assignments and learning objectives.
COURSE DURATION
Versant English placement preparation classes are given at the frequency and time most convenient for the student. Typically, students choose to take 30-minute or one-hour classes, and then take longer classes when they feel comfortable.
