DISCUSSED SUBJECTS
Our preparation courses for the public service exam in Canada provide students with the language level necessary to pass the exam. We want to develop the ease and autonomy of our students so that they can understand the content of a complex text, communicate with an English person clearly, or express an opinion accurately both in writing and orally. The courses content is personalized, so the teacher will approach the concepts of the English language according to your interests and needs.
TEACHING METHODS
Exam preparation can be done by Google Meet or phone, depending on the student's preference and availability. It is possible to cancel a course or make changes to the schedule, without penalty, with 48 hours notice. At Global Lingua, there is a study area that gathers several information: your class schedule, your homework, your learning objectives and your class notes exchanged between you and your teacher. Concerning the homework, you can agree with your teacher that you want to do exercises outside of school hours to integrate the notions acquired during the lessons. You can also ask him / her to take mock exams before the English exam in the Public Service of Canada, in order to practice before the actual exam.
LENGTH OF THE CLASSES
Exam preparation courses are given at the frequency and at the most convenient time for the student. Generally, students first choose to take 30-minute or one-hour classes before taking longer courses when they feel comfortable.
OTHER COURSES THAT MIGHT INTEREST YOU
