STUDENT PROFILE
This course program is intended for people who wish to obtain French nationality, and must therefore demonstrate their level of oral proficiency in French with the TCF ANF. The TCF for access to French nationality (TCF ANF) was specifically designed to respond to the new provisions introduced by the French Ministry setting the B1 level for each of the two tests. It is an oral comprehension test and an oral expression test.

The TCF ANF requires mandatory tests to assess oral comprehension and oral expression. You may be advised to watch movies or TV shows to train your ears to the intonations, expressions used and specificities of the French accent. Your teacher will ask you questions about this movie or this show to check your understanding. Preparation courses for the TCF ANF will also allow you to work on your oral expression. Your teacher will focus in class on your ability to interact and express your point of view on different topics in French.
In addition, our teachers always try to approach the learning or the development of a language by using subjects that can arouse your interest: it is always more motivating to follow a course if the activities are built around topics of interest to you. The teacher will try to get to know you in the first few classes to find discussion topics that reflect your interests. On your side, you can suggest ways for your teacher to develop your oral skills such as a movie, TV show or even a story. TEACHING METHODS
You can take the preparation courses for the TCF ANF remotely by Google Meet or by phone. It is possible to cancel or modify your class schedule, without penalty, with 48 hours notice. At Global Lingua, you benefit from a study area that represents a real place to share learning tools and that allows you to access the history of your course notes exchanged between you and your teacher. It may be necessary to prepare an oral presentation for the next class. Instructions for the preparation of your presentation will be found in this study area.
LENGTH OF THE CLASSES
The TCF ANF preparation courses are given at the time that best suits your schedule. It is also possible for you to choose the frequency of your courses. You may decide to take 30-minute or one-hour classes, but you can also take longer courses. You can choose to start the program with a 30-minute class, before increasing the duration when you feel more comfortable.
