Italian is a Romance language mainly spoken in Italy, but also in Switzerland, the Vatican, Croatia and Slovenia. Our courses are ideal if you want to familiarize yourself with this language spoken by 61.7 million people around the world. DISCUSSED SUBJECTS
Thanks to our classes, our students acquire a basic knowledge of Italian, allowing them to cope in an Italian-speaking environment. At the end of our courses, beginner students can introduce themselves in Italian, write short texts, share their opinions and ask for information.
Our more advanced students in Italian will be able to give their opinion on more complex topics and take part in conversations with natives. The teachers approach the concepts of the Italian language by using topics that interest the students. The first courses are usually used to better understand the individuals and allow the teacher to target the interests of the latter.
TEACHING METHODS
Depending on your preference, Italian lessons can be provided by Google Meet or by phone. However, teaching by Google Meet is ideal when the individual is a beginner since it allows screen sharing, exchange of texts and images. In this sense, Google Meet becomes a very informative visual support that gives the student the opportunity to integrate more quickly the various notions of Italian. It is possible to make changes to the course schedule, without penalty, with 48 hours notice.
At Global Lingua, there is a study area that contains your class schedule and the course notes you exchanged between you and your teacher. It is also possible to ask your teacher for exercises you could do outside of school hours in order to consolidate the concepts acquired during the course.
LENGTH OF THE CLASSES
You can schedule your language courses in Italian depending on your availability and on the frequency that suits you best. Beginning students usually choose to start the program with a 30-minute class. Once they are more comfortable, most students prefer to continue the program by attending one-hour classes.
